PARADISE

In the midst of gardens and vineyards

The rays of the setting sun lighted up the snowy whiteness of marble walls with admiration

While palm branches waved

Not far distant was heaven

 

 

 

THE LAST MARTYR

Black with woe

Slighted, abused, rejected

One soul looked upon smoldering ruins

He saw the people of the world cry

He saw human misery

He yearned to relieve them all

 

 

 

 

THE BURNING MAN

The emperor

radiant with gold

dazzling in the flames

An appalling spectacle swallowed up in the fiery abyss

The echoes of the resounded screams utter a cry of triumph

 

 

 

THE DAY THE SKY FELL DOWN

That day

Among the clouds of heaven

Angels fell out of the stars

and upon the earth
